Testimonials

I suffered with a frozen shoulder for a period of 12 months and moving was becoming quite painful and restricted. I did not want to go to the GP just for painkillers and a long wait to see someone who could make a judgement on the condition and the treatment of my shoulder.

It was suggested I see a Physiotherapist who would have expert knowledge, training and experience in how to treat a frozen shoulder. I rang Hetty at Physio First and was given a quick date for assessment.

At the appointment a thorough examination was made to look at my arm movement and pain threshold; a programme of treatment and follow up exercises were given.

After the first week and return visit the improvement to mobility and pain was absolutely remarkable! It’s now my throd week and my sleep pattern is no longer disturbed by the pain from my arm and shoulder. Considering the past 12 months have been difficult, the improvement has been literally miraculous. Although not completely better, the improvement has been liberating!!

The exercises only take 10 minutes and I was quite thrilled that they are sent via email and demonstrated via a video – how can you go wrong? I even received the mail to my phone.

Hetty’s attention to detail and guidance has proved to be extremely supportive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hetty and Physio First to colleagues, contacts, friends and family.

I have been visiting Physio First for many years now and usually on a weekly basis. I retired from work due to chronic cervical spondylosis and this initially led me to Physio First on experiencing a painful flare up of the condition.

I was instantly impressed by the warm welcome and the expert treatment that I received. Everything was explained fully to me and I felt confident that my condition would benefit from the treatment on offer. It is very important for me to be able to receive rapid treatment when it is needed and Physio First is always able to see me promptly. Michelle and Hetty know the problems that I have and the treatments that prove to benefit me most. It is reassuring to be able to see the same physiotherapist on each visit.

I am an active person and want to continue to be able to live life to the full. I play a lot of golf and I have to maintain my neck problems and back problems at a level that allows me to continue doing what I enjoy most. Visting Physio First meets this need. I have also had sports injuries and wear and tear problem at times. Whatever the difficulties are Michelle and Hetty can help to alleviate the pain and speed up recovery.

I can confidently recommend Physio First to friends and family. The service and treatments are excellent and patients are seen promptly. Physio First undoubtedly provides me with a quality of life that I wouldn’t have if I didn’t receive the treatment it provides. I am able to continue to play golf and can lead an active life. I am very grateful for all the help and support that I receive from Michelle and Hetty.

Having suffered back problems due to sport I have used Physio First for many years.  I have always been impressed by the helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff. I am sure that without their help and expertise my sporting life would have been cut short long ago. I have no problem recommending them to my friends and family.

I have used Physio First for many years and for many different problems that I have had.  I have had a number of sports-related injuries together with other knocks and wear and tear problems that Hetty and Michelle have always managed to sort out for me.  I have always felt comfortable and well-looked after and the treatment I have had has been first-class.

One of the nicest things about visiting Physio First is that they always explain up front what treatment is going to be and give some idea of the length of treatment and this is revised as treatment continues. It is a bonus being able to visit for treatment at times to suit my schedule.  While the initial reason for visiting is usually painful, Hetty and her staff make it as pain-free as possible during treatment and I have no hesitation in recommending friends and family to use their services.  I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I loved the follow-up emails following my booking. I got one with directions and confirmation of time and who with. Then I got one confirming payment terms and a set of pre-examination questions.

Just after my appointment I received my exercise plan with diagrams. Brilliant.

My last physio was a pain to organize bookings, you guys are the business. Thanks. Plus the actual treatment was great too.

At St Helens Law Solicitors we go out of our way to ensure our clients receive a quality service whatever their legal needs are.

Which is why when we have clients who have been involved in road traffic accidents we choose Physio First Prescot & Warrington.

Hetty and her colleagues ensure that all clients are contacted on the same day that I send them details usually seconds after I have pressed the “send” button! Appointments are arranged to suit the client but all clients are offered an appointment within 48 hours from the initial contact.

Hetty then prepares an initial assessment providing recommendations as to amount of treatment required and costings. Following treatment a final assessment report is given with further recommendations if necessary.

I am always happy with the service provided byHetty and her team as they are always extremely professional and efficient.

I highly recommend the services of Physio First to any individual and business that requires physiotherapy and sports massage treatment.

I am just writing a little note about a lovely lady that I go to for physiotherapy. She is called Michelle and is a very nice lady and is very gentle. She has a lovely personality. The ladies and gentlemen that work in the office are also very nice people.

Dear Hetty

I would like to say a huge thank you for the magical physio that Michelle did on my painful shoulder and neck.  I had been in pain for almost 3 weeks over Christmas and painkillers were not helping at all.

I asked you if you could help – you got me an appointment straight away and within two sessions I was cured.  I have always suffered with neck pain due to accidents in the past but never has it been cured so quickly and easily.

I would highly recommend your services, your lovely practice and your excellent prices, you will definitely be my first call at the first sign of any future pain.

Dear Hetty

I just wanted to write and express my gratitude for the service I received at your clinic three weeks ago.

During my consultation appointment, Michelle was able to diagnose the problem and give me some exercises to do which have already alleviated most of the pain.  I was very impressed that this could be sorted in one session and I feel that if was incredible value for money.  I am only sorry that I didn’t seek your advise sooner.

I would like to say big Thank You to Hetty for her super service!

My business partner Eddie Douglas booked in for physio.  Hetty accommodated the date and time required.

Eddie has received physio previously and felt like a change.  He said Physio First were very professional and friendly.  He would not hesitate to use or recommend their services.

Many Thanks

Dear Michelle

Just a quick note to say thank you for your help re my back problems.

I fell down the stairs last January and didn’t do anything about it – after a couple of treatments at Hetty’s place I feel so much better.

Very impressed with the service and will definitely recommend the services of Physio First to my friends and family.

Thanks again.

Dear Hetty

Once again I would like to say a huge thank you for the magical physio that Michelle did for me.  I woke up with chronic lower back pain and struggled to get out of bed.  I took painkillers and struggled on with my Friday days work.  It got worse over the weekend, I had no phone so emailed you Monday morning.  You replied straight away and even though you were fully booked for the next 3 days you fitted me in straight away that day at 11.30am.

After 2 sessions I could walk more easily and after 3 the pain has almost disappeared. You are now the AA to me for any muscular pain! I would highly recommend your services, your lovely practice and your excellent prices, you will definitely be my first call at the first sign of any future pain.

After breaking a bone in my foot I was struggling to walk properly again and the recovery seemed to be going really slowly. I attended Physio First’s Prescot clinic and after meeting Hetty I left with a more positive outlook and a plan of action to get mobile again.

Doing the exercises that where set out for me really helped and when I received ultrasound treatment I was astonished at how quickly it had an effect and how well I began to walk again, the swelling that kept returning around my ankle now started to subside and the stiffness in my muscles began to relax.

My treatment is complete now and I am thrilled to say I have a full range of movement again. At each session I was made to feel welcome and at ease and the emailed appointment reminders are great for keeping track of everything.

So I just wanted to say a big thank you to Hetty for helping me to get back on both feet again, as I am really grateful for everything she has done.

A very satisfied customer.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Hetty for the acupuncture treatment she provided me with. It healed my sciatic pain and I was really pleased with the treatment she provided. I will share my experience on my facebook page as I would highly recommend you. My daughters will miss Bella too.

Thank you to your staff and Physio as they were fantastic and very helpful. It’s a rarity these days finding good service with a smile.
